Rules still rules..
Rules... How many of us like to adhere to a certain sets of rules that we need to compromise? I myself don't like.. Dislike in fact.. But like it or not, rules still play an important part in our lifes, isn't it...
I dont know how many of you out there used to think that there are certain actions are confined to be done my couples i.e. gf/bf and not to friends.. i used to think (when am young) that actions like holding hands, kissing, hugging are meant for couples only but as we grow older, it seems that there are no specific action for different kind of r'ships..
Was talking to a secondary school friend (CY) and listening to his r'ship stories. He told me that he & another gal friend hold hands and kiss as well when they are just friends.. Just as other guy friends were telling me, sex is no longer restricted to the person you like/love and it can be with a stranger (ONS)...
So as I was thinking when I am on my way home, how many of us are "guilty" of such confusing actions? I admit I am somewhat "guilty" too in the past... Does that means that as we grow older, the boundaries we set for such actions/behaviours by ourselves start to "stretch" and disintegrate? A simple action like holding hands is no longer an exclusive privilege for couple.. A common friends can also kiss.. So what's sex?!
Hence, will this slowly evolve into a point where some of us who arent married in another 10-20 years, where we will have regular sex partners although i do know some of my friends at that age actually have their regular sex partners, maybe for the companionship or just to fulfil their biological physical needs or the need to feel "alive"?
CY agrees that that might just be the case and i asked him if we are letting the rules break loose... Are we lacking/losing some things here? Is it something good? Not that I am against any of the above but just thinking if the youngsters nowadays are really that open-minded or it is due to the experiences and age that individual goes through..
~dont understand~
